Up grading your bathrooms is one of the wisest investment decisions you could make to increase the value of your home. Home buyers these days are just as interested in luxury bathrooms with all bells and whistles and, when faced with a choice of two similar sized homes in the same area, don't mind paying extra for the one with the glamorous bathrooms. Even something as simple as a bath tub remodel can give your old bathroom a new lease of life. Always decide on a bath remodeling plan that takes into consideration your space constraints, as well as your budget. Your bathroom should be in sync with the rest of the house, when it comes to theme and décor.
The design of your shower can be one of the most troublesome decisions in a bathroom model. If you have the luxury of a large bath, you may have the freedom and choice to install the latest shower stalls. If you have a small bathroom however, fitting a stall can be a problem. If a shower stall is not an option, choose a curved quadrant shower, preferably with a detachable shower head. For a larger bathroom, you can easily install a separate tub for long soaks, and a shower stall for a quick morning rinse. A limitless range of stall designs and sizes make choosing a bath shower a complicated affair. Choose from two person showers, spa like showers that function like saunas, and door less showers. Your shower stall can quickly transform into your own personal relaxation enclosure.
Almost all American homes have at least one bathroom that includes a tub. Your bath tub remodel will depend on the size of your bath. Although the basic 3-wall alcove tub is still the most popular and affordable choice, there are dozens of other different styles to choose from. A triangular tub that is installed in a corner with just one finished size visible is ideal for a smaller bathroom. Claw footed tubs or free standing tubs that are plunked in the middle of a bath, or anywhere else you desire. These tubs are made of light weight materials, but are finished to look like an antique tub. A whirlpool is installed as a drop in model, mounted in the platform. It can also be sunk to below flow level. The soothing hydro massage that a whirlpool tub offers elevates it from a mere tub to a spa facility.

Hello, i am currently looking into adding a loft into my home. it is a two story home, 1630 current sqft and in our living area downstairs is a straight up ceiling going clean to the second floor. what i am trying to say is, above our living room, there is no current living space... just a wide open ceiling. my wife and i have wanted to add in a loft up there for about two years, and we believe we are ready now. there are a couple other home improvements we would like to do, including moving our master bedroom closet to another part of the house ( a section of the loft). we would also like to extend our master bedroom door down the hallway about 4 feet. in the old closet we want to add a large jet bath. it should fit beautifully from what we see, but then again, you guys are the pro's! we would like to get a quote as to how much all of this would cost us. we would also more than likely replace the carpet going up the stairs, the bedrooms and then add carpet to the new loft. we hope |
I am wanting to convert a garage into a bedroom and a closet and a bathroom, carpet ect. The room next to it requires a little work carpet, closing off the washer and dryer and turning the closet that faces the den around. Would like to share the bathroom with the other room if possible. |
